Sponsors will be recognized in the following ways:
Acknowledgement in all email, mailed notices and newsletter coverage
Acknowledgement in the form of signage at the event
Complimentary attendance at event, if applicable, as listed below
Firms may provide their logo for use in all materials; if that is not provided, firms will be recognized by name. Sponsorships must be received one month prior to the scheduled event to receive promotional advertising benefits. Sponsorships received less than a month before the event will be advertised at the event and in the newsletter recap of the event.
Description of Sponsorship Opportunities
Annual Section Sponsor – Want to get recognized at every Sun Coast Section event? To do so, consider becoming an Annual Sponsor with a donation of $2,500 or more. Annual Sponsors will have their logo included in the advertisement of all events and emails, and will receive complimentary attendance for one person to all Section Events.
AICP Exam Prep Course – The Sun Coast Section provides an annual AICP Exam Prep Course for those taking the AICP Exam in May. Sponsorship opportunities include support of AICP prep course materials provided to participants, continental breakfast, lunch or happy hour event.
$250 – Silver Sponsor – Receives 1 complimentary AICP Prep Course registration ($140 value) and acknowledgement on cover of prep course book.
$500 – Gold Sponsor – Receives 2 complimentary AICP Prep Course registrations ($280 value) and acknowledgement on cover of prep course book.
Student Scholarship – Annually, the Sun Coast Section offers $2,000 in scholarship assistance to graduate students at the University of South Florida Masters in Urban and Regional Planning program. Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis to qualifying students from our region. Please consider supporting the Student Scholarship Program; any amount will be gratefully accepted.
Annual Awards Dinner Sponsor (Held in November 2010) – This dinner serves as an opportunity to recognize successful projects and individuals in our region. It also serves as the Section’s annual business meeting. Acknowledgement of sponsorship will be included in the event program and on signage at the event.
Event Sponsor – Sponsor one of the Sun Coast Section’s many events held throughout the year. These include Happy Hours, Professional Development Workshops or Walking Tours. You may specify which type of event you choose to sponsor.
